I am one of the very few named individuals authorised for the export of Arabica Coffee and Cocoa from Venezuela operating seamlessly, without intermediaries, between Venezuela and the U.K. 

I meet all regulatory requirements with complete transparency at all times in all places.

In Venezuela our Cocoa Agronomist previously advised and sourced for a noted Chocolatier who was recognised by receiving a number of awards for excellence. He has a complete picture of that which is quality and that which should be avoided. This is true for all of our coffee and cocoa varieties and we have access to all varieties in Venezuela. For coffee those varieties include but not limited to Typica, the Bourbons, Catuai, Caturra, Criollo2, Catimor and for the cocoas Porcelana, Chuao, Guasare, Sur del Lago, Novillero, Ocumare, Caicara, Rio Caribe and a few more. The groundwork to cover this need by our Field Coffee / Cocoa Advisors takes years and even then there are other Cocoa beans unknown internationally. We have access to those discoveries too. 

Our people are permanently in the field ensuring best practice advising and working with the farmers in order to enhance their gain. It is our objective to ensure that our rare cocoa varieties are preserved organically for the future. That’s not as easy as it sounds as there is pressure to replant with other varieties. We consider otherwise. We pay the farm price and return a percentage of sales from the U.K. to the farmer. 

We control the transport from farm to our laboratory and storage facility. That may not appear to be important but we manage the situation.

Our beans are fully tested and analysed by an internationally accredited laboratory compliant with U.K. import specifications.

We select, test, grade and Ecotact bag the beans only at our premises. At no time are they outwith our control. We transport from our storage facility to the port of export. Our people are present at all times including during Customs inspection and transfer to the final point of export. We complete all documentation at the same place of export.

We provide full traceability and certification for all coffee and cocoa beans.
